Dynamic Piano Studio Online lessons Policies
Lesson Tuition and payment
Lessons will be scheduled on a weekly basis for 30, 45 or 60 minute time slots. Once scheduled, lessons will be held on the same day and time each week.
Your monthly tuition will be calculated based on the date you join the studio.
Payment will be on a monthly basis, paid on the first lesson of the month. Payment can be made the Cash or Venmo app. The monthly rates are: $95 for weekly 30 minute lessons, $135 for 45 minute weekly lessons, $185 for 60 minute weekly lessons.
Materials, assigned by the teacher, will be purchased by the student.
Tuition is based on a 10-month period (August-May) and divided into monthly payment installments. The studio runs much like a private school; Tuition remains the same each month and is based on enrollment, not attendance, reserving the student's exclusive lesson time throughout the academic year, whether he/she attends lessons or not. It is not the teacher’s responsibility to reschedule a student’s lesson if he/she has a conflict with another activity. A student who does not attend a lesson will simply miss the benefit of that lesson. Your tuition reserves you a weekly time slot and benefits within the studio. Please give as much notice as possible when canceling a lesson.
Inclement weather: The advantage of online lessons is that bad weather is (usually) not a factor! If you have to lose power or internet connection due to weather, that lesson can be rescheduled.
Discontinuation of lessons
To discontinue lessons, the student must provide at least one month’s advance written notice. If the student does not provide one month’s advance written notice, the student shall be liable for one month’s tuition in full, even if no lessons are provided during that month.
I reserve the right to discontinue lessons for any reason. If I decide to terminate lessons, tuition will be pro-rated up to the last lesson taken and a refund provided, if applicable. The reasons for discontinuation may be:
- Persistent absences/tardiness
- Excessive requests for scheduling changes
- Lack of progress due to insufficient practice
- Uncooperative attitude or general dislike of lessons
