Suzuki Early Childhood Education- a class for newborn-4 years old
What is Suzuki Early Childhood Education (SECE?)
SECE is a mixed age class that introduces musical concepts to children from newborn-age four. In addition to hearing and playing instruments, children learn social and literacy skill through songs, poems and rhymes. There are many opportunities for parent-child bonding in this interactive class that features live singing and many different instruments. In the nurturing and encouraging class environment, children are invited to participate according to their developmental level. This class prepares children to take instrumental music lessons.

How long is the class?
This class meets once a week for one hour.
Where does the class meet?
The class will meet in two different locations: In High Point (near the Palladium) on Saturday mornings and in Winston-Salem on a weekday morning (the exact day is TBD).
Do I need to stay with my child?
Yes. Parents participate in the class alongside their child. In fact, your child will learn to sing and do the hand motions by watching you!
Can I bring multiple children?
The activities in this class are designed for one adult per child. If you have multiple children, consider bringing a spouse, grandparent, friend, etc, who will be with the other child.
What is the cost?
There is a $25 registration fee, and tuition is $144 per six week session . Payments are due on the first class of the session.
Can I test out the class before paying?
Yes, you can bring your child to one free class before enrolling.
I don't have any musical experience. Can I still bring my child to the class?
Absolutely! Previous musical experience is not required for the parents. We only ask parents to commit to being present and engaged.
